Since 2001, the Senior Citizen Vacations program has developed subsidized tourist packages in a percentage of the total value of each travel package specially designed for the country's seniors, contributing to the use of tourism services in various destinations prioritized by Sernatur. thus contributing to the enhancement of emerging tourist destinations and attractions in times of low demand.
Thanks to the thousands of trips made year after year, the Senior Citizen Vacations program energizes the local economies of each destination and also helps older adults access all the psychological and physical benefits that tourism activity provides.
